Art Works celebrates 30 years
Art Works Gallery in downtown °ÄÃŲ©²Ê¹ÙÍø is celebrating 30 years as a cooperative art gallery.
During a celebration reception from 4 to 7 p.m. May 10, visitors will have opportunities to meet and purchase original fine art and crafts from local artists as well as enjoy tasty nibbles and one-time discounts. Art Works Gallery comprises nearly 30 members.
The gallery will provide free food and drink during the reception along with 10% discounts on all purchases that day. Raffles and free gifts will be part of the fun. Artists will be demonstrating outside the gallery during the weekend.
Art Works, at 214 N. First Ave., is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Sunday, when hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Art Works is operated by member artists and craftspeople who display and work in the gallery.
